In keeping with a tradition I may have started last night, when I featured an alcohol-sponsored sweepstakes even though I don't drink, here's a sweep designed for basketball fans, something I definitely am not!
What can you win?
One grand prize winner will receive a trip for four to attend the NBA All-Star 2011 Game. The prize package includes:
- Round-trip coach air transportation for winner and three guests from a major airport nearest winner’s home in the United States to Los Angeles, California
- 2 standard hotel room accommodations (double-occupancy) for 2 nights/3 days
- 4 VIP NBA All-Star 2011 ticket packages (includes 4 tickets to attend the NBA All-Star 2011 Game, four tickets to the NBA All-Star 2011 Saturday Night, and 4 tickets to the NBA All-Star 2011 Jam Session
- $1200 in spending money (awarded in the form of a check or wire transfer to winner)

- Ground transportation to/from the destination airport and hotel
The grand prize is valued at $15,400.

95 second prize winners will receive one of the following (to be selected by the sponsor):

Tonight's sweep is a liquor-sponsored sweep and is therefore void in California. I am not a drinker, so I don't know why it is I manage to find so many liquor-sponsored sweeps.
I haven't added a new sweepstakes to this site in so long, I hope I remember how to do it!
This sweepstakes does allow for online entry, but there are some questions you must answer to complete your registration that seem a little nosy to me. If you are nervous about disclosing health-related information online, like I am, you can also enter by mail.

I am violating my rule on only posting prizes worth $1,000 or more because this is for a good cause. Win a laptop for yourself, and another one for a child in Africa. There's also many prize winners being selected in this giveaway, so you stand a better chance of winning. This is another long-running sweepstakes. It ends in 2011 and that's not a typo.
This sweeps is geared towards kids and actually requires you have a family member in your household between the ages of 5 and 15. You also need entry codes to enter online that you can find on specially-marked boxes of Post Cereals. Fortunately, while having a kid is mandatory to enter, a purchase is not.
