Tonight's snail sweep advertises itself as a "Win free groceries" promotion, but the prize you'll win is actually a cash prize that should cover a year's worth of groceries. There's no strings upon how you may spend your cash, according to the official rules, so really this is a "win free cash" promotion in my book. Good luck!
What can you win?
Five grand prize winners will receive free groceries for a year, awarded in the form of a $5,000 check.
How do I enter to win?
To enter via snail mail, print your full name, address (including city, state, and zip code), and e-mail address (if you have one) on a 3" x 5" card, and mail to:
The $25,000 Prize Spectacular (#003) Box 289 Newburgh, NY 12550
You may enter once per day. Entries must be postmarked by 9/29/09.
Can I enter online?
You can enter at the Reader's Digest web site. Online entries are due by 11:59pm EST on 9/29/09. You are limited to one entry per day, regardless of entry method, so you shouldn't enter both online and through the mail on the same day.
When are winners drawn?
Who may enter this sweepstakes?
Entry is open to legal residents of the United States. If any of the selected winners are minors, the check will be awarded to the winner's legal guardian.
What if I have more questions?
The official rules are here -- http://www.rd.com/sweeps/groceries/rules.jsp. If you have any questions about this sweepstakes, I recommend using the "Customer Care" text link above the search box at the top of the official rules web page.
Are you interested in winning a prize from the sweepstakes listed on this page? Then be sure to follow the instructions closely. You can't win by leaving a comment or sending an email to this website. You'll need to either mail in a postcard, or a 3x5 card or paper in an envelope; you'll be directed as to what you need exactly. Be sure to mail your entry on or before the postmark date, or, if the official rules simply state an entry must be received by a certain day, allow 7 calendar days for mailing. Have fun!
