How do I enter to win?
Visit the cashier after purchasing gas at a Shell station to receive a free game card. To receive a free game card via snail mail, mail a SASE to:

Residents of VT do not need to affix postage to their SASE. Pay attention to these instructions in the official rules:
Each request must be sent in a separate outer mailing envelope with the requestor's first and last name, street address, city/town, state and zip code legibly written in the upper left hand corner of the outer envelope (name and address must match the return name and address on SASE)
Your SASEs must be postmarked by September 28, 2008 and received by October 6, 2008. However, I suggest mailing in your requests far earlier than this deadline, in case they run out of scratcher cards, and to allow time for game cards to be mailed back to you before the instant-win game ends.
Can I enter online?
Only if you have a game card. You need to purchase gas at a Shell station or mail away for a free game card. Once you have a card, you can use the codes you'll uncover on the right side of the card for free chances to win at the Shell $2900 Every Day Fuel Giveaway web page. You may enter up to four codes each day per email address. (There are two codes on each game card.) The promotion ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on September 28, 2008, however, requests for game cards can be postmarked as late as that date. I am making an assumption that if you receive a game card on September 29th or later, you can still participate in the match-2-halves-to-win scratcher game, but the online component will be over.
When are winners drawn?
This is an instant-win game and winners will be selected throughout the promotion period, which ends on September 28, 2008. The promotional material for this giveaway says someone will win free fuel every 29 minutes. If you are a winner, from either the scratch-off ticket or the online game, you will be provided with a phone number to call to claim your prize. Your deadline for making a prize claim call is October 15th.
Who may enter this sweepstakes?
You may enter this sweepstakes if you are a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, and are a licensed driver of at least 16 years of age on August 4, 2008.
